Acne has many variations, such as pimples, black heads, white heads, zits, papules, pustules, nodules, cysts, acne rosacea, acne conglobata and acne scars. The skin regimen works by itself to cure acne in its mild form. However severe acne formation needs medical intervention. Acne can appear because of excessive sebum production, clogging of pores, accumulation of external/ internal toxin, lack of vitamins, improper diet, etc. Acne can appear on the face, chest, back and upper arms. Clinic Dermatech offers different technologies that are suitable for treating mild to most stubborn and active Acne.
  • Laser Helium Neon + I.R is the latest 'non-invasive' therapy, that treats acne and pimples. The He Ne beam scans the effected area and helps in reduction of acne / pimple growth. This is the most gentle and safe treatment suitable even for most sensitive skin with no side effects and minimum recovery time. This actually revitalises your skin, while treating acne and pimples.
  • Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) offers gentle, yet effective treatment for acne & pimples reduction with 'no side effects'. IPL Photo-rejuvenation technology improves the appearance of the skin, by treating broken capillaries and acne scars. IPL gently delivers precise amounts of light energy to the skin's surface, to stimulate the production of collagen, which improves the appearance of skin.
  • Erbium Yag laser is ideal for precise layer-by-layer ablation. It ensures prevention and early treatment of acne / pimples by opening the pores and cleaning the epidermis. It also offers an excellent treatment for complex cases of acne scarring.
  • Nd: Yag long pulse laser enables deep penetration and its homogeneous absorption in skin eradicates the bacteria in pores, while accelerating collagen regeneration. Thus, it effectively helps in prevention as well as reduction of acne / pimple inflammations.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) helps to reduce the redness and broken veins or thread veins. The light energy from IPL warms the collagen fibers in the skin, which stimulates new collagen remodeling. This helps in delaying further development of broken veins and thread veins.

Erbium Yag laser is specially designed for treating superficial skin problems. It reduces blushing, unwanted facial redness and accelerates the production of collagen - making it firmer.

Our advanced Vitiligo treatment with UVB technology uses a carefully focused beam of light. This therapeutic light is transported through a sophisticated device to deliver an intense dose directly to the affected area of Psoriasis and Vitiligo. This light stimulates the cells responsible for producing skin colour called melanocytes. For psoriasis, it corrects immunology, thereby clearing lesions. Until now there was no effective treatment available for these conditions - UVB technology is the first modality to offer an efficient

treatment for Vitiligo / psoriasis.

PREGNANCY & OTHER STRETCH MARKS, ACNE SCARS
How many times have you looked at your stretch marks and scars and dreamt of having them removed forever? At Clinic Dermatech, we have several customised treatments, which can be used to reduce them. Selection of the most appropriate technology from the following options depends on your treatment needs and the depth of marks & scars. Beautytek uses the principle of natural stimulation of pulses operating within the body. The Stimulation of pulses with very low amperage (35-500 micro amps- below the pain threshold) gently reduces the stretch marks and also reduce other scars viz. acne and surgery. Erbium Yag laser provides a safer, more precise and less painful method of restoring softer, smoother, more youthful skin. The Erbium Yag laser is more gentle to surrounding tissues than any other laser used for reducing scars and pregnancy stretch marks. Recent studies have shown that the Erbium laser stimulates the production of collagen, which leads to the tightening and smoothening of skin.

SPIDER VEINS, VARICOSE VEINS, COUPEROSE SKIN, TELANGIECTASIA

Though IPL and Nd:Yag laser can be used for these treatments, at Clinic Dermatech we have more specialised equipment for the removal of your spider veins / varicose veins. Our TC 3000 uses the thermo-coagulation technique that immediately removes varicula, the couperose and even the red points - while preserving the epidermis. All that remains is a small circular red mark, which too disappears in few days. The treated veins completely disappear within a matter of seconds. A single treatment is all that is needed -even for a large area.

CO2 laser delivers short bursts of high-energy laser beam, which vaporizes the undesired warts and moles one at a time, uncovering fresh skin underneath. CO2 laser has the ability to seal blood vessels simultaneously while cutting and vapourising. This ensures complete treatment, without any bleeding.

BIRTHMARKS (PIGMENTED NEVI & VASCULAR LESIONS / PORT-WINE STAINS & HEMANGIOMAS)

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) can gradually fade and eliminate pigmented birthmarks while protecting the surrounding normal skin.

Nd:Yag Short pulse laser offers a dedicated and advanced laser treatment for all types of pigmented lesions including birthmarks. This is considered the most efficient, easy and non surgical alternative for treating birthmarks including vascular lesions and pigmented nevi. It is also suitable for the treatment of areas, that are hard to reach by other equipment e.g. nose, ears and areas around the eyes.

Nd:Yag Long pulse laser can also be used in conjunction with Nd:Yag short pulse laser, for supplementing the treatment of deeper pigmentation and vascular lesions.

The Laser energy is delivered to the treatment area in such a way as to maximize tissue damage to the hair follicle while sparing the skin and surrounding tissues.

About Melanin

Melanin is the pigment which gives colour to both hair and skin. Much more melanin is present in hair than in skin, and this property allows relatively more absorption of laser light energy in hair than in the skin.

Understanding Hair Growth
active growth" (anagen) phase, "regressive" (categen) phase, and "resting" (telogen) phase. Laser hair removal is most effective at disabling "actively growing" hairs during treatment. It is during anagen that the hair shaft contains the greatest abundance of melanin, the target of the laser light. Many hair follicles are in their resting or regressive stages at any given time. The length of growth cycle also vary slightly by body area. Your Laser Hair Removal plan will be customized to obtain optimal results. Depending on hair density, coarseness, growth cycle, and area to be treated, clients are counseled on the use of IPL, Diode or ND Yag laser for hair removal treatment.

For hair reduction ND Yag lase, IPL, or Diode laser may be used.
  • Number of treatments required may be 6-8. Hormonal imbalance, pregnancy, and menopause may stimulate additional hair growth., in which case additional treatments may be necessary.
  • Although results vary from person to person, typically 80% reduction is expected.
  • Hair should not be plucked or waxed before treatment.
  • Lotions, cosmetics, and other skin preparations should be avoided on the day of the treatment.Redness may occur but will go away 30 minutes after treatment.
  • Limited exposure to the sun before and after treatment is advisable.
  • This treatment may not be performed during pregnancy.Be rid of excess hair problems today!

    MICRODERMABRASION

Microdermabrasion is the latest method to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin. A high technology machine uses a gentle wand to remove sun damaged and dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. The precise abrasive action of the diamond tip combined with a mild vacuum suction exfoliates the outer layer of the skin, resulting in a new, softer skin with an even texture. A series of several microdermabrasion sessions combined with nutrients applied to the new skin can make your skin look fresh and healthy. Microdermabrasion is recommended for improvement of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots and sun damage.

    BOTOX

An injection of BOTOX (Botulinum ToxinType A) will erase fine lines and wrinkling of the forehead, brow furrows and crow's feet. This drug, which has a long history of safe use in the eye area, paralyzes the muscles of the forehead, brows and canthus (outer eye area) to create a smooth appearance without surgery. Botox lasts for about 4-6 months in an area and many patients feel that it a great non-surgical approach to the middle aged face.

    SCLEROTHERAPY

It is unknown exactly why some women and men develop spider veins on the legs but we have two options to improve unwanted veins. If the veins are small and red in color, laser may be effective in removing the unwanted veins. If veins are larger and darker red or purple in color sclerotherapy may be effective in improving the appearance of these veins. Sclerotherapy is a technique, which involves the use of a very fine needle to inject a solution directly into the veins. This solution causes the blood within the vein to disappear or become less obvious. Most patients enjoy 60%-80% improvement after 1-3 sessions of sclerotherapy. We include a support hose with the procedure to ensure best results.

Clinic Dermatech Skin Rejuvenation with Under eye Dark Circle Treatment Delhi
Birthmarks are stains on your skin that appear at birth or shortly afterwards. Sometimes they are small and remain unnoticed, but sometimes they can be conspicuous and large. In the latter case you may feel uncomftable with your look and have a low self-esteem.

Laser therapy is one of the methods used, especially for superficial skin lesions. Laser energy targeted at a specific location causes the skin to fade and become lighter. In a case of port wine stain the laser makes it smaller and prevents from growing further. Laser treatments can be performed at any age, but sometimes several treatments are required.

Surgery is another method used for birthmarks, which cannot be removed by using laser. One example is hemangioma which is too large.

Laser treatment may take from several minutes to an hour, depending on the size of birthmarks. There is very little pain associated with the laser procedure. You may feel a mild burning sensation. Small children, or people sensitive to pain, may receive anesthetics. After the procedure has been completed, the skin is dark purple, and should improve after 7-10 days. Complete healing takes up to 6 weeks, during which you should avoid rubbing the place and exposing it to direct sun.

How and why your body creates dark under-eye circles

Learn about the causes of dark circles under eyes

Most people think that dark under-eye circles are caused by staying up late watching monster movies, or having that last drink the night before, or sitting up with your laptop trying to finish the quarterly report. Most people think that their behavior is somehow linked to dark under-eye circles.

Well, most people are dead wrong.

If nothing else, I want you to know that dark under-eye circles are not your fault. They don't mysteriously appear when you misbehave or are stressed out, only to vanish when you get 8 straight hours of sleep. Dark under-eye circles are a by-product of the very same mechanism that produces bruises (and you don't blame yourself for bruising, do you?). Changing your behavior will, in almost every case, NOT get rid of your dark under-eye circles.

Having said that, onto the specifics:

    What causes dark under-eye circles

Your shiners, your raccoon eyes, your blue luggage... whatever you call your dark under-eye circles, here's what they really are: oxidizing hemoglobin.

Dark under-eye circles begin in the capillaries, the tiny blood vessels that web the delicate skin around the eyes. Now, your capillaries are so small that red blood cells sometimes have to line up, single file, to get through. Frequently, red blood cells get lost and wander into the surrounding skin. This isn't a problem - it happens all the time - and your body has a mechanism to mop up these escapees. Enzymes in your body break down the red blood cells, including their hemoglobin (the molecule that gives them their distinctive red color).

No problem, right? Except for one thing: when hemoglobin is broken down, its remaining components have a dark blue-black color. Just like a bruise. So your dark under-eye circles are actually caused by leaky capillaries.

How dark under-eye circles are like bruises

When something hits you, blood vessels are traumatized and sometimes broken. Blood leaks out into the surrounding skin. Your body begins the mopping-up process, and you see a dark, purplish or blue-black discoloration.

So, as you can see, dark under-eye circles are very similar to bruises. The same mechanisms produce them.

Why are dark under-eye circles so visible?

It's quite possible that capillaries all over your body are leaking small amounts of blood all the time (I don't know if this is true or not). But the reason dark under-eye circles are so apparent is this: the skin around the eyes is some of the thinnest, most delicate skin of your entire body. The capillaries are much closer to the surface of the skin there. Many people's skin is not only thinner around the eyes, but also more translucent.

The combination of capillaries near the skin's surface and translucent skin makes this discoloration much more apparent. And that's why you have those dark under-eye circles staring back at you in the mirror.

Getting rid of dark under-eye circles

Now that you know they're not your fault, you're probably even more likely to want to get rid of those pesky and unattractive dark under-eye circles. Check out RevitaLume for dark circles under the eyes to get the help you need. You can also look into home remedies for dark circles while you're waiting for your new products to come in the mail.

Take control of your appearance and stamp out your dark under-eye circles today!

To see the quickest results, you will have to undergo professional cosmetics procedures. While procedures such as laser treatments, injections and dermabrasion produce the fastest, most noticeable improvements, they are all are somewhat painful or uncomfortable and not more costly. In addition, pre and post treatment plans are required to achieve maximum results, which consist of using skin care products, that are also proven to be safe, effective, painless and less expensive alternatives to professional cosmetic procedures (Autologous fat transplant). Please note that with the use of any new skin care product, it is highly possible that your skin will react to the ingredients. You may experience irritation, redness, dryness or a mild breakout, which should only last for the first 3-5 days of use. If you experience any of these reactions for a longer period of time, please discontinue use and consult a skin care professional. It is also recommended that prior to using any new skin care product to consult with a skin care professional
